Opal’s entire design department visited the Shenzhen Gifts, Consumer Packaging & Printing Exhibition at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center on October 21, 2025. The visit reinforced Opal’s commitment to integrating sustainable packaging solutions into our design services, aligning with growing global environmental concerns.
The team focused on sourcing materials that comply with international standards, including pulp molding, washable kraft paper, and eco-friendly paper handles and ropes. These materials offer durability, customizability, and full biodegradability.
Although standout packaging designs were scarce, the team gained valuable insights into material innovation and supply chain compliance, particularly regarding EUDR regulations compared to FSC certification.
This iznitiative marks Opal’s deeper involvement in material selection—a step beyond traditional design roles—ensuring clients receive end-to-end packaging solutions that are aesthetic, functional, and environmentally responsible.
Opal continues to learn and adapt, positioning itself as a forward-thinking partner in the global export market.
